All contingency search firms have no up front charges or fees.
Contingency search fees are earned when you hire someone that the recruiting firm has sourced
and managed through the hiring process for you. The fee is a percentage of the
individual's starting salary. Most search firms give a guarantee. Our experience
has been that one out of fifty people we place do not last the guarantee period.
In that unlikely event we will replace that individual. A retained search does
involve up front fees. Generally the overall retained fee should be lower than the
contingency fee. In a retained arrangement the client should expect exclusive
attention to his need.
Clients can e mail requirements 24/7. or call 818.223.8429 - 8:30-4:30 PST.
| Quality is the prime reason to consider paying a search fee. Urgency would be another good reason. A key person just gave notice and there is no one internally who can immediately fill that void. You need someone and you need them now. The best that the market has to offer. | A lot of money has been spent to convince companies that
the solution to all their personnel problems lie in the acquisition and
implementation of technological solutions to a human problem. Technology has its place but it tends to get fringe and spotty results. It is passive, time consuming, impersonal, and standoffish. The net results are from the narrow pool of what is in the market at that time, not from the total pool of what might be available.
